Working And Progressing

I was originally drawn to the art world by the make up industry; though my love for make up continues, I wanted something deeper. I began my college career as a Marketing student in 2016 at Stetson University. Only to quickly find there wasn’t nearly enough design involved, switched majors, and finished my Bachelor’s Degree in Studio Art as Covid-19 began. I have been inspired by natural forms as well as popular culture. While my work is focused in whimsical pop style, I am intrigued by realistic influences. The product of this is realistic rendering of life as it comes interrupted  by contrasting styles and colors. My work in the studio takes many forms, whether that be ceramics, oil paint, and Adobe Suite. As I grow into an adult member of society and learn about the issues  that we as humanity must come to terms with; my goals as an artist have evolved. I now seek to create intriguing images that normalize the taboo and help to evolve society.
